In our last blog, we talked about how far infrared therapy can help to reduce your stress and went over several stress management tips. Keep reading for more tips to help you manage your stress:

#4. Don’t be a Victim

When you feel helpless to a problem, it will only make you feel more stressed out. Taking control and sticking up for yourself may not get you the result you want, but at least you aren’t just letting things happen to you!

#5. Just Say No

If you are like most Americans, you probably have too much to do and not enough time to do it. Constantly have a schedule that is too full is a recipe for stress. Learn to say no to doing the extra things that are filling your schedule up! Not only will this give you more time to get your other tasks done, it also frees up more time for relaxation!

#6. Avoid Stimulants

Stimulants, such as  nicotine and caffeine, may be your go-t0 options when you are feeling down or stressed, but they can actually increase your stress. When you feel stress coming on, limit your intake of nicotine and caffeine. In smaller quantities, alcohol can also act as a stimulant, so it should be avoided when you are feeling stressed.

Managing your stress isn’t always easy, but our far infrared therapy mats can certainly help. Order yours today!
